Julia Gaudard works across painting, sculpture and drawing, using simplified figures, graphic structure and colour to explore how individuals exist in relation to one another. Her characters are highly legible but never fixed into a single story. At Mauer Gallery, Zusammen II and Gathering show two stages of this investigation: first through larger compositions, then through groups of personalities that turn the gallery into a social space.
