Mauer Gallery offers selected artists a paid exhibition booking format in Berlin. Projects are reviewed first, then dates and a tailored exhibition proposal are discussed directly with the artist.
Paid bookings are separate from Mauer Gallery’s curated programme.

Mauer Gallery is a place to encounter exhibitions in person: openings, conversations, collectors, neighbours, artists and curious first time visitors all share the same room. The programme brings together contemporary art, urban culture and original Japanese animation art with a direct, welcoming energy.
If you want to see a current exhibition, discover the space, or discuss a specific work, the gallery can also be visited by appointment.
People, atmosphere and strong work in the same frame
The space matters as much as the artwork. Some visitors come for a specific artist or exhibition; others arrive by curiosity. The room has presence, colour and personality. Mauer is meant to feel alive.
The visit page shows the gallery as it is experienced: viewers in front of the work, details on the walls, and the changing mood of each show.
A mix of artworks, installations and original cellulo
The visit experience moves between gallery exhibitions and original animation art. Paintings, installations, sculptural details, framed works, production cels and animation drawings all belong to the same visual ecosystem.
That range is part of the identity of the place. Visitors can discover a strong contemporary exhibition one week and rare Japanese production material the next, held together by a clear visual identity.
Come for a show, or ask to see specific works
If you are interested in a particular exhibition, artist, or animation work, Mauer Gallery can arrange a focused visit. That can mean a calm viewing outside opening hours, a closer look at original production material, or a conversation around availability and provenance.
The gallery is compact and the programme is broad. A visit can be immediate and surprisingly rich.
A hosted exhibition week in Berlin
Paid exhibition bookings are separate from Mauer Gallery’s curated programme. The curated programme is developed directly by Mauer Gallery with invited or selected artists. The booking format offers artists the possibility to hire the gallery for a focused temporary exhibition, with Mauer Gallery staff present whenever the exhibition is open to the public.
Booking requests are still reviewed before a date is confirmed. The work needs to fit the space, the visual identity and the standard of Mauer Gallery. Once a project is accepted, Mauer Gallery confirms availability and prepares a tailored paid proposal.
After reviewing the work and preferred dates, Mauer Gallery proposes a paid booking format based on the duration of the exhibition, public opening hours, gallery staffing and installation requirements.
This booking format does not include the curatorial development, production involvement or collaborative framework of Mauer Gallery’s own programme. The artist may be present throughout the exhibition, while public opening hours are supervised by Mauer Gallery. Installation requirements, specialist equipment, drinks, transport and production needs are discussed as part of the proposal. Artists may handle their own sales with no gallery commission under this format.

Choose the Friday you would like to open, then send a short introduction to the work. Mauer Gallery reviews the project first, then confirms availability and sends a tailored proposal for the exhibition format. A request does not reserve the gallery automatically.
