Theodoro Autops works with a direct graphic language that moves between drawing, painting and urban visual culture. Figures are reduced, distorted and repeated until familiar human behaviour becomes strange again. Humour and discomfort often sit in the same image. At Mauer Gallery, Paper Love focused on the intimacy of his drawn and painted work, bringing process, line and surface to the foreground.
