A practice in context
Theodoro Autops works with a direct graphic language that moves between drawing, painting and urban visual culture. Figures are reduced, distorted and repeated until familiar human behaviour becomes strange again. Humour and discomfort often sit in the same image. At Mauer Gallery, Paper Love focused on the intimacy of his drawn and painted work, bringing process, line and surface to the foreground.
Works, details and installation
The artist page brings together individual works and exhibition context rather than separating them into a generic image archive. Scale, material, framing and the relation between pieces all become part of how the practice is read.
That movement between close detail and the wider room is central to the Mauer Gallery presentation.
One practice, multiple views
Additional archive images extend the page beyond a single hero image. The aim is to show how the work behaves from one format to another and how the exhibition changes the reading of each piece.
The page stays image led, but every image has a role in the sequence.
